Pastor Dave Grotzke has been the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church since 1990. He received his bachelor’s degree with a major in Bible and a minor in math and science from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in Owatonna, Minnesota. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He served as the assistant pastor, and then as the senior pastor at Bryant Avenue Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for fifteen years. Pastor Grotzke and his wife, Cindy, have been active in teaching, counseling, showing hospitality, and many other responsibilities within the local church, and they have visited many of the church’s missionaries. They have been active in the community, and they have also been speakers at many events. Pastor and Mrs. Grotzke are the parents of five married children who are all actively serving in various leadership positions in their local churches. The Grotzkes have fifteen grandchildren. Pastor Grotzke’s preaching is applicable in building spiritually sound people and strong families. His desire is to see people seek God’s will and the spread the Gospel to others.
